Scandinavian Art Pottery

The 20th century art potery of the Scandinavian region is now recognized as a major Design movement of the last century. The ceramics produced are pure gems sometimes very close to sculptures, very often prime examples of mid century modernism. Most pieces exhibited here are from Denmark (Royal Copenhagen, Saxbo, Palshus, Ipsen...) or Sweden (Rorstrand, Tobo, Gustavsberg, Hoganas...) but we will also add items from Norway and Finland (Arabia...)

Royal Copenhagen - Inge-Lise Kofoed

Description: SWEDEN. Superbe tall ewer. Organic bambou style. I have never seen this desaign before. A very light hairline on the handle, the piece is extremely solid. Feel free to ask me for more detailed pictures. Circa 1950-1960's
